Find Ancestors

I am looking for any information to help me go forward on my Uncle George, he was married but have forgotted her name and had two boys Georgie and Micheal. One of them married an Italian air strewdess. The family lived I belive in Norfolk Road Stretham London.

George was born in 1909.

I for some reason cannot back track on the records as in births I can't find his fathers birth cert, this way I could find info going backwards in history.

Bev if you are using the records on GR, don't lol. You can use freebmd.org.uk and the GRO index both are free and work much better than GR. You do need to take all the info on the other thread into account also. That does have the info you need to work back.
