Thank you Argyllgran ,

I just went with the age of the 1911 Lily so did not think it was her ,
Just looked at the 1904 and 1905 Valuation rolls , also not her .

thanks again

In 1911, there's this woman:

WRIGHT
LILY
1911
F
41
644/15 31/ 27
Hutchesontown
Lanark

EDIT: but doesn't look like her. Other people in the household:

WRIGHT
WILLIAM
1911
M
42
644/15 31/ 27
Hutchesontown
Lanark

WRIGHT
SOPHIA
1911
F
13
644/15 31/ 27
Hutchesontown
Lanark

WRIGHT
WILLIAM
1911
M
17
644/15 31/ 27
Hutchesontown
Lanark

WRIGHT
KATE
1911
F
15
644/15 31/ 27
Hutchesontown
Lanark

WRIGHT
LILY
1911
F
20
644/15 31/ 27
Hutchesontown
Lanark

That family are together in 1901 and 1891, so definitely not your Lily.

There's a Mrs Lily Wright in Dumfries in 1904 and 1905 (per Valuation Rolls) - but you'd need credits on SP to view the details.

The 1891 census says John was born in Annan, Dumfries-shire.

Thank you greyghost,

Had a look at that marriage but not my Lily ,
This lady married twice once in 1886 and 2nd in 1913.

Thank you greyghost,

I have the 1891 census for them but when looking on Scotlandspeople for the 1901 and 1911 for Lily none of the ages that she would be match .

Sorry I thought the valuation rolls were on Ancestry , must have been thinking of the Electoral rolls.
thank you

One possible death shows if born c 1865 (more if not), credits will let you look at death cert. as long as over 50 years ago which is more than likely

Surname Forename Age at death Mother's Maiden Name Year Ref RD Name Image View
WRIGHT
LILY
52
1919
644/4 1622
Dennistoun

This death also registered in name of McQueen and Owens

A Lily Wright married Daniel Owens 1913 Blythswood

For an idea of age - is this them in 1891 (only John and lily I can see)

1891 England, Wales & Scotland Census
Eastfield Place, Barony, Dennistoun, Lanarkshire, Scotland

First name(s) Last name Relationship Marital status Sex Age Birth year Occupation Birth place
John Wright Head Married Male 45 1846 Carting Contractor Dumfriesshire, Scotland
Lily Wright Wife Married Female 26 1865 - -

You need the Scotland's People website to look for her in 1911 as no other site has that census. Also to look at details from the Valuation Rolls. You register and buy credits to look at full details - initial checks are free

Could someone please try and find Lily Wright on the the Glasgow valuation rolls after 1895 please.
She is on the 1895 living at 82/84, Millarbank street Glasgow , occupation milk dealer.

She was married to John Wright in 1888 in St.Rollox.Her occupation then was fruiterer' assistant

John died at 82, Millarbank Street in 1894 , his occupation was fruiterer.
I have been trying to find a death for her but so far no luck with either maiden name of Low or her married name
thank you
