County Records Office is probably the best bet for something as far back as that.

A bit stuck re Samson Bligh.. sometimes Samsonis.. Cornwall OPC’s have him marrying Sibble (sic) on 21 Jan 1593 at Linkinhorne,Cornwall, with Sybblye buried on the 7th of Feb 1597 (parish of St. Mellion) after 3 children, one my 10 times GGM
My stumbling block is who might Samson’s parents be ? I see claims to Johannes Bligh(e) c.1538 and wife Agnetta Arscott c.1540’s but no record of substance that might verify this descent. Appreciative of any leads, advices.
