Find Ancestors

Hi,researchers.Wondered if anyone could help with a problem I have come up against?
When asked by a friend to find ancestors of Elsie Pattison,(friends GrandMother) she said Elsie had married Edward Lee in 1920,Hartlepool. I found this record.
When looking for Elsie's birth I could only find Elsie Dowson Pattison in Hartlepool.
Her Mothers maiden name given as Worley.When looking at various trees on Ancestry they say she married William R.H.Bearby in 1917,Hartlepool.These trees also show Elsie's Mother to be Eliza Ann Worley who married James Pattison in
1891,Hartlepool.William Bearby and Elsie D Bearby are in the 1939 Register at Belmont Gardens,Hartlepool.So obviously not my friends Grandparents.My question is where is the birth of Elsie who married Edward Lee?Sorry if I have made this sound so complicated. Thanks for any help,Terry L.

Don't rely on Ancestry trees, The best way to be sure is to buy the marriage cert for Elsie's father's name

Just realised you have a date of birth in title as 1892, are you certain of this as it looks unlikely from the 1939 reg?

IF it is the 1899 one as per 1939register, then it is more likely to be this one in 1911 census
