Could someone do a lookup at a Familysearch library. My nearest is a 4 hour trip.

On the Familysearch site it has the marriage of Thomas WHYBROW & Rebecka WILKINSON married 11 Aug 1806 in Milton next Gravesend,Kent,England.

Wondering if Thomas had been married previously & was a widower when he married.

Thanks
Kerri

Yes Maddie, Rebecca remarried. But not to Thomas Etheridge. It was their daughter Rebecca who married Thomas Etheridge.
Have all this info thanks

The marriage can be viewed on the Medway Archives on line. Thomas was a bachelor and Rebecka a spinster - both of this parish. Both signed with a cross.

This site used to be called Medway City Ark. If you google this the third entry is taken from information put on rootschat.com which explains how to get into the records. The site is free and is well worth registering with.

How to get into these records is a little complicated so I book marked the page.

Hope this helps

Thanks Jacqueline. As you said, website is convoluted to access the records but once you get there, its fantastic. Will be going through them with a fine tooth comb to look for a baptism which maybe mistranscribed.
