Can anyone please find an Anthony ginley/gainley born in 1926in burnley or Colne please on the 1939census?
Mother was Mary gainley or ginley. Lived in Colne. Mary did not marry apparently. So no idea who Anthony's father was.
I think I found a Mary ginley or gainley living with sister winifred in Colne in 1939but wonder where Anthony was living

Yes he definately died in 2016. Like you say he is probably on the 1939.

I'm thinking that Maggie gainley senior is perhaps not the mother of Maggie junior as she woukd only have been sixteen but guess that's a possible. Just maybe born out of wedlock?? :-)
