"Library staff are working offsite due to the COVID-19 situation. It can take a little time to find you the best information available, so please bear with us and a member of our team will be in touch within a few days of receiving your inquiry."

It shouldn't be a problem unless your enquiry is urgent.

Does a copy of an Australian marriage certificate contain the same details you would get on an English one ie. name and age at marriage, address occupation, Fathers name, Occupation. Witnesses I just want to make sure before l order it that this is what will be on the certificate. Thank you Pam

Uncertified only means it can’t be used for legal purposes.

You can’t actually have the original cert - only a copy.

The info on them is identical

Did you look at the link I posted above?

It says you can have either an uncertified image, which you can download , or else an official certificate which would be posted to you.

I have found the original link but wanted to know if they actually post the certificate to you as someone gave me uncertain information that you could download it but that didn.t sound right ? Thanks Pam

BUT note Covid-19 restrictions.

There are 1876 Victoria marriage records on Ancestry - no image to view, but they give the above link to order an original document.
