I’m struggling with this ancestor. Info I have:-
??Ella Lydia Lambert married Leslie ClarenceFrampton Hendon 1940 3a1664 - correct Ella. Going forward from there all good.
??I believe/am told Ella was born near Leeds 1917 - the only birth record I can find though for an Ella Lydia is Hampstead 9/1/16 MMN Bradley and residing Hendon 1939 census working as shop asst Woolworths.
??Told Ella’s mother died when Ella was about 7 and raised by grandmother moving to London eventually
??Had a sister Daisy and a brother who died in teenage years from scarlet
??I have found a marriage between Daisy Elizabeth Bradley and Wilfred Lambert Mar Qtr 1910 Leeds
??There is a Daisy Elizabeth Lambert that died when 31 in Hampstead Jun Qtr 1921 1a 606. From evidence this would seem to be my Ella’s mother but I can’t find a birth record for the other Daisy. There is a Daisy born Settle/Leeds 17/4/13 but MMN Harrison. Evidence to of other siblings but not an Ella.
??Trying to ascertain if my Ella’s mum is the Daisy Elizabeth any pointers greatly appreciated, Thank You

Ignore what you are ‘told’ if it can’t be backed up by documentation. People can over-dramatise things, or their memories play tricks

The birth with MMN Bradley is in the correct period to fit the 1939 register.
She may have added the second forename because her husband had one

The sensible course of action is to buy a copy of the woman’s marriage cert

The birth registration in the March Qtr 1916 would "fit" the DOB shown but no middle name - could have been added at a later date?

A copy of that certificate would give names of both Father and Mother

freebmd or the gro.gov.uk site will give names of children born to the Lambert/Bradley combiantion. There is a Daisy 1921 and a Wilfrid 1911, both Hampstead registrations, but there are others are spread around the country.

Wilfrid died aged 26 in 1938 Hampstead and perhaps the birth of Daisy contributed to the death of her Mother, both events recorded in the June Qtr
