Have you looked at FreeBMD for their mothers maiden name ( or the GRO). Then you can look for a Dixon/ name marriage.

Took me all of 5 minutes on FreeBMD. Mothers maiden name Boulton.
Florence Boulton married Joseph Dixon in Horncastle in 1897.

Question. If Sidami was hoping to find the parents of those girls by getting someone to check the 39 register, wouldn’t the 1921 census been of more use given the birth years of the girls.

Sidami, are you aware that many Uk libraries have free access to either Ancestry or FMP or, if you are lucky both. I keep a note book for queries if I need to use the library access.

Surely you only need to look for marriage of parents by doing a surname search by using birth name and mmn ?
