Hi I'm trying to follow a Dorothea Millicent Wyatt born 1915 Plymouth MMN Hodge
I,ve got she married 1939 to a Robert J Brown and is in the 1939 register with him,
I think her parents are George Henry Wyatt and Marion Georgina Hodge both b abt 1870
1939 George is a widow living with a Pearce family a Stonemason Marion died 1922

So I'm hoping 1921 census will have them together so I know I've got the right family

I know it puts Marion at 45 when Dorothea was born and 18 yrs after her other children
may be one of her sons married a Hodge??

The mother would have been 41/42 when conceiving

A number of earlier children had been born, so no issue as far as I can see with the mother giving birth at 42. My mother was 41 when I was born...........and I'm an only child!

George Henry Wyatt's obituary mentions daughters Mrs D Brown (Shropshire), Mrs E Martin, Mrs C Toy and sons George and E Wyatt.
He was the first secretary of the Independant Labour Party in Plymouth.
