Morning All,

I wonder if anyone has the electoral roll for the late 70's for Lorrimore RD, Southwark SE17 , not sure if i am allowed to put up the surname, as we are not sure if they are still alive, any info or advise would be appreciate. Thanks

I would have thought.only business would purchase an electoral roll.

I assume it is not on here or on Ancestry.

Southwark Archives in Borough Road is the main place, large libraries or local studies may have them

To check if someone has died, look at freebmd and/or the GRO index

Who are you looking for/?

When were they born? Year only

As long as you don’t post exact DoB, there’s no issue with privacy

Not sure how a 50-year - old ER would actually help with their current state of mortality - or is that not what you’re trying to find out :-S :-S

You wouldn't get all the adults listed at the address, but would phone directories help?

They are on Ancestry into the 2000s for some areas.

Thanks for the input, its alot more complicated than finding a death etc, really we would have liked to know who was living there , adults of course.

Go to - or contact - the main public library for the area. Searches are by address.

The archives( mentioned earlier) on Borough road share the site with a library, which is probably the main library.

It is possible that the archives may do a look up for you, but is unlikely to be free.
