My great-great-great grandmother Ann Green lived at 19 Cressy Place, Mile End Old Town in 1881, with her two grandchildren, Charles Winchester Giesen and Ada Anne Green Culling. She was by that time a widow and her husband was James Green. I am looking for any information about James and Ann, who in the late 1830s, early 1840s, lived at Lee (Leigh?) Kent, where their twin children Walter and Martha Ann were born in 1840. Also, does anyone know where people who died in the Mile End/Bethnal Green/Stepney areas were buried? |
