Member Since: October 2004 Posts: 16 Send Message	I am trying to locate the family of my uncle Sidney Ernest French. He was born in Byfield, Banbury on January 1st 1926. However, he was brought up by his grandmother and later joined the Merchant Navy. He went onto to marry Lillian Laura Garthwaite and moved to South Shields, Tyne and Wear. IF anyone can shed any light on my uncles past, please get in touch. Karen Garthwaite
