Looking for information on my grandfather, Herbert James Turner, born Jan.5, 1880, Halifax, Yorkshire. He came to Canada before 1910. His parents may be Thomas and Elizabeth Turner. We know nothing of Herberts family or his life prior to coming to Canada. Herbert's second marriage to Ettamay Hailstone produced eight children. Herbert used to send Christmas gifts home to a niecein England. Herbert died July 14, 1948 in Trenton, Ontario Canada. Herberts children were Robert, Goldie, Dorothy, Marie, Verna, Fay, Glen and Jeraine. Any information would be greatly appreciated as I've been looking for years with no luck at all. Thank you. Wendy
