My family are descended from the Vango line. They were Huguenots originally, I believe. My great x2 grandmother was Ann Vango, born 1799, married John Burridge 1813,in Islington. The Vangos - silk weavers by trade - wove the silk for Queen Victoria's wedding dress.I think, but am not sure that Ann had a brother, James, There was also a James Vango who was born around 1855 who was married to an Ellen. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 1935 and had a telegram of congratulations from the King and Queen.Maybe your family come from that line.
