My Riach forebears came from Strathdon and Towie and I can trace them back to John and Janet (nee Glennie), who were both born in the late 18th century. Sadly, the records of John's birth or parents do not exist, although there are plenty of possibilities in the Strathdon area, recorded in the OPRs. Janet's parents were William Glennie and Barbara Reid, the latter was born in Kildrummy about 1749. Does anyone have any more info on this side of the family? Diana Riach
