My husbane and I have been compiling and researching the Buttress/Buttriss/Pratt/Hancock families from Fulbourn Cambridge for many years. We have 400 pages of family history we are prepared to share with the family. Please contract me. Jan Buttriss Australia at janice.buttriss@bigpond.com

Hi Janice,

I have just come across a message on genes reunited message board submitted by you in 2005.

As you can see from my email address my name is Stephen Buttriss.

I was born in Coventry, but family appears to stem from Birmingham/ Dudley and Rugby areas.

I know there is a large contingent of Buttriss' in the Cambridge/ Huntingdon areas and I have previously had contact with Jackie Buttriss from that area who believed that there is probably a connection between her husband's family and mine in (what is now) the west midlands.

Do you have any information that can confirm or refute this idea?

I hope to hear from you

Kind regards

Stephen Buttriis

Unfortunately Janice is no longer a member of Genes. Nowadays it is against T & C’s to include an email address, but is probably worth trying it.
