I have letters from a pte George Hubert Benton who was killed in action 1915 age 23. I do not know if he was related to my husband. His parents were Gearge and Eliza Benton. In 1915 they lived in William Street Brierley Hill.He had a sister Louisa age 14 in 1891 and a sister Alice age 11. They were living at the Dog and Partridge pub in High st Brieley Hill Staffs. They may either be related by married to May Packwood through his mother or he was May's sweetheart. I cannot put him on my tree until I am sure. My husband was born in Brierley hill in 1922 and as yet I have found no living relatives though plenty of forebears. Other names are Hanflett, Fellowes, and I am looking for a Percy Cowper who also wrote to May during the Great War. I have correspondence from Australia from a Holloway.

I'm looking for a Louisa May Benton she is my grandmother's mother. My grandmother (Julia Quinn) was adopted out and the only information she has is her name (Louisa May Benton) and that she was at Ryde/ Municipality? I think that it is in N.S.W. in Sydney Julia Quinn was born in 1930. She would like to know somethings about her. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.
