I am looking for family of David Donald born early 1872 at Hamptonwick, Middlesex to Alexander and Fanny Donald (nee Pearse). Brother of William, Alexander (Henry), James and Fanny, Christina, Ann and Isobel (Ida). David married Lizzie (Elizabeth) Pedley in 1897. Lizzie came from Orwell in Cambridgeshire. Both appear on the 1901 census for Southampton. After that date I can find no births nor death records for either person. I was told they remained in England when most of their immediate family went to Canada. I would question this due to the lack of information beyond 1901. I am also looking for family of James Donald who married Caroline Brown in 1850. James was a Head Gardener at Hampton Court Palace in 1856 to 1872. Any help on David, Lizzie, James or Caroline would be most welcome. |
