KATHLEEN ESME WALKER OR MAY Can anyone help? I have for over 20 years been trying to trace my late nans parents, grandparents , possible siblings and any other family. My nan was born in Guildford in 1907 to PERCY GEORGE WALKER, and EMMA WALKER formerly WATSON. I have no other details about my nans parents. By 1909 I believe her surname had changed from WALKER to MAY. In the 1920s she was living with her grandparents GEORGE JOSHUA, AND MARY ANN WALKER in Haslemere, Surrey. On her marriage certificate in 1929/1930 it gives her father as PERCIVAL MAY DECEASED, and maiden name as WALKER MAY. Can anybody help me? I know she had relations in Aldershot, and believe she might have had an aunt called ANNIE WALKER who married a FRED HUNTER in 1907. I think there might also have been a LEWIS WALKER, who lived in Haslemere who could have been related. I would be really grateful for any help anyone could give me. |
