Hi, does anyone have any lineage on a Robert Blackmore, father also Robert, who was born in the late 1840's/early 1850's and who served on the 'Annie Fisher' and possibly the 'Lizzie Iredale'? He died of swamp fever as far as we know in December 1874 in or around Manilla. He was engaged to Jenny Lake Gaydon, who later married his father, and probably had family connections with Captain John England of the 'Titania'. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have very little factual information about the Blackmore side of my family. Also anything about Elizabeth, who married Henry Gaydon in Appledore Parish Church, 01/01/1853. Thankyou, Isobel Gaydon |
