I am looking for Avent, and Evens, and Pink (Sam), all of the East Stonehouse and Plymouth areas in the 1700s qnd 1800. My g.grandmother, Mary Ann Elizabeth Evens Avent was the daughter of Samuel Avent and Elizabeth Evens. MAEA married Erastus Hodgkinson of Chesterfield, in 1881. He was a mariner at the time. The Avents were shop keepers in East Stonehouse. I am also looking for a connection (marriage) between Sarah Evens and (John?) the youngest son of the Earl of Warrington. David J Dodsworth |
