I have Maria Lower, married to Thomas Reeds in April 1804 - Alfriston.
This may be the same family... I am interested in Lower family information in that location at that timeframe.

I am trying to find out more about the father of Richard Lower who was born in Newhaven in 1837/8. His wife was Louisa possibly born in 1841. I think his father was probably Richard Smith Lower, who was born in Brighton (20.11.1812). His grand parents were probably Joseph Lower (b. Alfriston,1787?) and Susannah Smith (b. 1787?) who married in Brighton in 1808. Any help will be gratefully received by Ian G Macpherson (my grandmother was Laura Lower b.1877,Newhaven)
