Hi , I am trying to find any information about my great grandmother Jane Bowen, born in Bersham which I think is in Shropshire, in 1866. She married an Edward Wilson and they eventually lived in Seaforth, Lancashire.

Hi Ann
Sorry I can't help. My "Bowens" (usually tenant farmers from Pembrokeshire and Carmathenshire from 1793) don't seem to connect with your interests.
However, I'm not sure if you're aware that Bersham had a Colliery and is close to Wrexham. It was very common for Welsmen to drift into Shropshire for work (mining being a classic example) before moving on to larger places after 1 or 2 generations. Wolverhampton, where I live, being a case in point.
Seaforth is in Liverpool and is situated right on the dock front (plenty of work) may have been the reason for another move. There is a web page for it, here it is..

Best wishes and good searching.
