hello my surname is Zuber. my family are Polish and come from southern poland from silesia.the zuber family settled in Czuhow in silesia from another silesian town around 1850 and built a house there.we have lived thre ever since but now i live in england slough as my father came here in the 80's.

Adam,

My father's mother's mother was Hannah Zuber, born 1847 in Bethnal Green, East London. Her father, William Zuber, born 1799 came to England from Germany. Hannah Zuber had 3 brothers and two sisters. They were a Jewish family. I think Zuber means the person who supervises the killing of animals in the Jewish tradition. Some of the Zubers subsequently moved from England to Australia.
