Hi Jane-My maiden name was Lapper. My father's father's side came from London.Dad was b in Lambeth, his Dad in Walworth and his Dad in Shoreditch.I was born in Surrey(Guildford)1943.Do you have your Grandparent's certificate's etc.,they may distantly connect,as Lapper is fairly unusual. Some say french from Lapierre/Lapier,tho' I've found them in Germany,Belgium,Scandinavia as well as France. It is also a job to do with the cloth trade.give us a mail. regards Pat

Trying to trace family history of the Lapper Surname, especially where originated from. My father Alan Robert Lapper born in London 1948, trying to trace family tree back from there and if any unknown relatives.
