Hi I'm Deborah and i am trying to find out more about my Great Grandpop CHARLES LEIGHTON. He married my Great Grandma in the 1950's in NOTTINGHAM, her name is MARY ELIZABETH LEIGHTON. His first wife was also called Mary, she died around 1950. He died in 1960. In his life time he was a policeman, fireman, local councillor, freemason, owned a garage on Lower Parliament St in Nottingham and ran a farm. He wasn't born in Nottingham, i think he lived down south originally. He didnt have any children with my Gt Grandma so i would like to know if he has any other relatives out there from his first marriage etc. |
