Burton Trying to find details of my great grandad and his family. My great grandad was Wallace Burton b. 1885, d. 1933. He married Agnes Chamberlain (nee Jarvis) (wallace was her 2nd husband). Wallace's parents were James Burton and Emma (nee Wallis or Wallace). We believe Wallace was born in nottingham. In the 1901 census it states that Wallace was living with his aunt and uncle in Whitwick, leicestershire and he was working as a coal miner banksman above. Wallace married Agnes in 1921 and had 2 children - Jeremiah Wallace Burton 1922 - 1934 and Agnes Burton (my nanna) in 1925. Any info would be great. Thanks |
