Have you tried Irland My husbands father was John Braden and his father we think had the same name, came from Irland but he abandoned his family in Irland and came to the north of England/Scotland, nothing more was heard of him. Also our name is Braden but when tracing it back it changes to Braiden. I hope this may be of help.

hi. iam looking for any information about the BRADEN side of my family. my great grandfathe was ZEB BRADEN from G;ASGOW, SCOTLAND. he was a blacksmith in the usa. from his death certificated i have learned that his father's name was JOHN BRADEN also from SCOTLAND. has any one run across these names? i am having a hard time tracking them down in SCOTLAND. thanks, celia
