Aw I am a Pickett Decendant too. As far as i know they stretch from Preston down to Brighton and across to Devon and over to Canada.

It was also rumour that we were related to Major General George Pickett of the Confederate Army who fought in the American civil war. Whether this is true or not is something I am personally yet to discover.

Hi Martin,
Albert Pickett Born 1900 married Fanny Rogers 1924 Romford ,Children: Florence1926,Herbert 1928, Edward 1932. Fanny Pickett Nee Rogers died 1934 aged 30.
Albert Pickett remarried 1938 to Kate Drane born 1900, Children: Brian 1940 William 1943 Sidney 1945. Albert Pickett was my grandfathers(William Pickett) youngest brother. If you need to view my tree just ask. Regards John

Hi Martin,
My branch of the Pickett comes from Barking, If any of the following rings a bell just let me know I may be of help to you.
William Pickett,Amy Pickett,Edward Pickett, Thomas Pickett, Harry Pickett, Albert Pickett.
I know some of them lived in Gas Lane (now Abbey Road) then some moved to Ripple Road.

hello all, my name is martin pickett..b.27 feb 1970. i would love to find out more about my family and how far i can trace back. i was born in barking, essex to sidney albert pickett. b.1945..and marian elizebeth pickett..nee roberts..b 1952. my grand father on my paternal side was called albert pickett and he died in 1970. he had a wife called fanny pickett who died young and he remarried, please can anyone help.. thanks
