Did a blanket search for Frederick Charles and this is the only one...

England & Wales, FreeBMD Birth Index: 1837-1983
about Frederick C Massam
Name: Frederick C Massam
Year of Registration: 1912
Quarter of Registration: Apr-May-Jun
Mother's Maiden Name: Afford
District: Wisbech
County: Cambridgeshire, Norfolk
Volume: 3b
Page: 957

Did your father list his fathers name on his marriage certificate? With your grandfathers name it might make your search alittle easier.

There were also these 2 with mother listed as Afford
Evelyn A Massam 1914 Jul-Aug-Sep
Maud E Massam 1915 Oct-Nov-Dec

And all these also born in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire
Mary Dora Massam 1902 Jan-Feb-Mar
Florence Honor Massam 1903 Jul-Aug-Sep
Edith Beatrice Massam 1905 Jul-Aug-Sep
John William Massam 1907 Jan-Feb-Mar
Alice May Massam 1908 Jul-Aug-Sep
Henry Thomas Massam 1909 Oct-Nov-Dec
Lily G Massam 1911 Apr-May-Jun

Do any of these names ring any bells?

Good luck

Hi, My maiden name was Massam. - I believe My father Federick Charles Massam was from the North of England. He was born Circa 1910, ran away at the age of 15. I know he had a large number of bothers and sisters. Can anyone help with information?
