I am trying to trace my family tree on my fathers side.His namewas Gwilliam Thomas Davies.He was born 1907 in East Ham london.He had two brothers and two sisters,Jack George Elsie Dorothy and Vera.His parents were David (I think) and Alice. His mothers maiden name was Morris, and I Think she may have came from Wanstead originaly.They lived for a while in Trumpingdon Road. Also in and around Forest Gate,moving toROMFORD in Essex at some point.My father was in the London Fire Brigade during WW2.My grandfather came from Llaneli Wales about 1890 to London, where I think his father had been a minister of the church.When my grandfather came to London he worked as a checker on the railway.I believe my grandmothers family may have been newsagents.Apart from that I know very little,and I am hoping that someone out there may be able help me. |
