Hi - My name is Denise Moody (nee Brightwell) and I am trying to find members of the Brightwell Family who left Northamptonshire for Australia in 1852. In our tree we have a William who was baptised on 27 May 1765 in Eydon, he married Johanna Simons at Horley on 11 October 1798. They had a son John Thomas Brightwell who was baptised at Horley in 1800. He married Hannah West at Broughton on 29 April 1822, John and Hannah were my Great Great Grandparents and both died in Australia in 1867 and 1884. Any help would be much appreciated from "down under". I live in Dunedin, New Zealand. Regards Denise Moody |
