Lucy Bartlett had a son Edward b 1872? I think in south of England. Edward used the surname BAILEY. Edward came to Australia On his marraige cert information Father William Bailey, Mother Lucy Bailey (nee Bartlett), from Poole, England. Cannot find marriage William Bailey to a Lucy Bartlett in England, or a birth Edward to William and Lucy. William was supposed to be a farmer.Edward first appears in Australia 1916 on his marriage Port Fairy,Victoria. Edward died 1935. Maybe his mother was Lucy Bartlett or Lucy Bailey, maybe a unmarried mother. Any information at all will help. Russell Bailey |
