I am trying to find the origins of the YOUNG's of Scotland. Not sure in which area but the unusual thing is that the eldest male is - ELPHINSTONE. Mums dad was an Elphinstone and so was his father. In the 1881 census he was down as an Iron Moulder of Scotland. Grandad was married to Emily Scott and they had 1 daughter Jean. Emily had 3 sisters Harriet, Annie & Sarah. They lived in Hull Yorkshire. Any Info would be welcome.
