Hi Sue - sorry for delay in replying, only just found your message! My family tree research goes in fits and starts !! Alas I'm afraid I do not recognise any of the names you gave but I have managed to find the Dewett family I was searching for although no sign of Hubert. I will check into their tree for a Dolly or Henry Dewett. (This site has traced two very important parts of my family so it is a brilliant site!!)

Hi Tina

Do you by any chance have a Dorothy Maud (Dolly) Dewett. Born abt 1910 Hertfordshire. Father was Henry Dewett. Dolly married Horace Percival Beer Feb 18 1928 in Malta. They had 1 child Doreen J Beer born 1930 in Bedfordshire.

Would love to be able to track down any descendants of Doreen's. She is/was my mother's first cousin.

Trying to find what happened to my Grandfather (Walter Dewett) 's brother HUBERT DEWETT. I believe he left around 1962 to live abroad - maybe New Zealand or Australia. Am doing Family Tree and have come up against a dead end with Hubert and would love to know what happened to him. It would be great to hear from anyone who has any information. Hubert was born in Birmingham around 1910 and according to my Aunt lived in the Southampton area before he left the country. Hubert had a brother (Walter - my grandfather) and a sister, Lily. His father was also called Walter and his grandfather was John Dewett. Information on the Dewetts seems in short supply so would love to hear from any Dewetts out there!! best wishes Tina
