trying to find details of thomas higgs living in hausey green cottages in warlingham surrey in 1917, profession carter one of his sons was edward joseph higgs who married annie dora johnson in august 1917, believe. there were quite a few more children. thomas was my greatgrandfather and am trying to trace back from him, but dont know his wifes name or how many children or his parents names. |

Have you tried the 1901 census - there is a Thomas Higgs on that living in Warlingham Surrey who was a carter. He is married to Mary and was born in 1860 in Buckinghamshire and has 13 children. |
