My great great grandfather was Thomas Moon born in 1829 in Traelles, nr. Kirkham. After he married Elizabeth Boulton he moved to Fleetwood. After she died he moved to Warton but his daughter Ellen Moon went to love in Fleetwood & he went too. This branch of the Moons stayed in Fleetwood for many generations. But I do not know of a Jack Moon. |

penelope i have borrowed a book called the moons of amounderness from our library in southport i think there is only one copy most of the moons in this area came from woodplumpton which is nnear preston i have tio take book back for 1st of october , whether anyone else has put a reservation down for it i dont know , but go to your local library and ask them for the book it is very informative about the moon family . hope this is of some help to you |

interested to find any Moons from fleetwood Fylde-i believe they were fishermen-Jack Moon was my father-his mother Jessica Wright-and father I think John died pre 1950 not sure they had a big family |
