Member Since: March 2005 Posts: 9 Send Message	Hi Angelina. My family on my dads side lived in hull. My GGrandfather was merchant seaman (originally born in Lincolnshire ) then moved to Hull. In 1881 census shows him (Richard) aged 23 living in Hull and was 2nd mate in merchant service.By 1891 he was a master mariner. He died 1893 in hull. His brother Walter aged 17 was listed as a mariner but unemployed in the 1881 census.
