My Pringle ancestry derives from a John Pringle born 1803-1805ish Berwickshire,a tailor, who left Scotland for Highgate Middlesex and married Mary Johnston. Between them they had Hamilton Jane Pringle 1825 Eliza I. Pringle 1827 John Pringle 1828 Andrew Johnston Pringle 1829 Peter William Pringle 1831 Robert Michael Pringle b 1833 (my g-g-grandfather) Thomas Bruce Pringle 1836 Abraham Eagles Pringle 1838 Joseph Septimus Pringle 1840 Mary Darling Pringle 1843 Margaret Eagles Pringle 1845 Charlotte Watson Pringle 1846 the family continued to live in Highgate. My husband is related to the Pringles in Berwickshire, but they emigrated to Australia. They were George and Catherine Pringle (nee Spence)
