I don't know whether I can be of any help, my great grandfather was a Walter William Bridgeman, born in 1861 in Burwell, Cambs. He had a son Arthur (my grandfather) born in 1888 in London. He was in the Metropolitan Police, as was his brother, Bert (Herbert) born 1894. There was also a son named William, but I have him as born in 1887 in Chelsea. I don't know if he was in the Met or not. This all may just be a coincidence of course but I can give you access to my tree if you like. |
