I have some Bovills married in Balwyn
They are descended from William Bovill b.1808 (d.1887 and transported from England.

Do you know where George Bovill was born?

By 1870 William was probably a free man. I wonder if any of his siblings then went out to join him. They were : Elizabeth b.1805
James b.1807
Thomas b. 1811

Best Wishes

Len Bovill

I am researching my Grandmother's family. She was the daughter of George Bovill and Susan Ann Smith an early pioneering family living in Balwyn, Victoria, in 1870, originally from England. She married Thomas Buchanan in 1911
