I'm not sure if there is any link to your relations as I am waiting for more details, but my g-grandfather, Thomas Richard Bartlett was born in Devon in 1891, as yet this is as far as I have come, waiting on his birth certificate, but I know he later moved to South Wales. Will let you know more details when I have them, happy hunting

Hi there is there any Bartlett family from Dorset and Devon. Who was related to John Bartlett of Lytchett Matravers Dorset in 1800 and I dont know his birth year. He married to Elizabeth Hescroff of Poole Dorset in 1830 and his children was Robert William Bartlett b.1831 my great grandfather. and he had 1 or 2 sisters and 1 brother John Joseph Hescroff Bartlett b.1834 and died in about 1867 at sea. he had 1 son William Robert b. 1860 and Annie Jane about b.1865 also Kate Seymour Bartlett but she died young age... Any Bartlett today, I wish to be contact with these family if they are still around. William Robert was living in Devon 1901 census his wife Maria Jephson Norreys and a station Clerk (railways) I dont know if he had any children and how many ?? and also who Annie Jane Bartlett's husband and children.. We lost contact as Robert William Bartlett died when my grand father was 4 years old in 1892 and he didnt know much of the family stories but I have found the details but not the direct family of today yet. Robert came to Australia in 1854 and his family develops the line here ...from South Australia ps John Bartlett the elder his father and mother was John and Sarah Bartlett nee Hardy and I wonder if John had siblings etc. and children from that parents if anyone can help to find info's will be much appredicate.. thanks cheers Kathleen. this is my first time on this site and I am so confused how to use it...
