Your ancestor didn't used to come home drunk with a toilet seat around his neck playing an old fashioned squeeze box (concertina) did he? Or is this just family folklore!!

Any info about the pub would be useful (my grandmother is related to a Knight family, and my brother has the aforementioned squeeze box.) Because of this story it was years before we could persuade my grandmother to go to a pub to eat!!

Any help greatly appreciated my grandmother died in 1989 and only the stories remain now.

Hello Ronald

My Grandfather is Herbert Edward Knight born in Sept 1901. I think he was born in or around London, Walthamstow, I believe.
He married Rose Edith Gwendoline Keats.
I don't know when they married, but they had 8 children.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi i am trying to find relations of Albert Knight married to florence knight nee may. Albert was reportedly 1 of 20 children, he lived in thornton heath surrey and may have had some ties with the lambeth walk / lambeth albet was born 1886c and died at the age of aprox 91.Albert had children of Victor , Florence , Thomas , Ivy, Joyce and Leslie [my dad]. Alberts wife Florence was born 1896c , her father [Sid May, born 1870] owned a public house called the kings head in kennington se london ..
