Trying to find Little

My mother and I are trying to find infomation about her dad's father. His name was Ernest James Little. From my grandad's birth cert we belivie that Ernest was born around 1872 in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria and was a bookbinder. He had a wife that was in a wheelchair we've been told, but we don't know her name. They moved to Palmerston North, New Zealand sometime before 1920, which was the year when my grandfather was born. Grandad's name was Ernest James (Jim) Stevenson. My grandfather's mother was the next door neighbour so we don't know much more as it kept hush hush. My great grandparents also had a girl in 1922 called Joan Stevenson. That is all we know as my grandad died 17yrs ago and his sister is dead too. We would love to hear from any one who may know of my great grandfather's family, if he had any siblings ect. Lisa |
