Trying to find huscroft

I am trying to find out more about my great grandparents John Huscroft and Elizabeth McClarence (McLaren?). Elizabeth McClarence born 1880 married John Huscroft 1909 in Gateshead. I know her father was John McClarence but I can't find either in the census returns or BMD index. His occupation is given as Glass Blower on Elizabeth's marriage certificate. Also from their marriage certificate they lived at Asylum Square, Sheriff Hill, Gateshead. John Huscroft was born 1880, his father was also called John and both were coal miners. Any more information would be appreciated. |
