Trying to find McGowan

Hi all. I'm trying to find out more about McGowan relatives from the 1860's and 70's from EDINBURGH. ANN, JOHN & MARY McGOWAN were the children of EDWARD McGOUCHAN & MARY FINNEGAN from LIETRIM Ireland. None of Edward & Mary's 8 children took the name of McGouchan; Ann, John & Mary McGowan's siblings were John, Bridget & Edward McGUCKIN and Patrick & Catherine MAGOOHAN. I'm descended from Edward McGuckin (g.grandfather) whose family moved to Dundee between 1890 and 1892 and I know nothing of his other siblings. Any help in filling in the gaps would be appreciated.
