any one have any connections to the Colemans of south west London? Alfred George Coleman was a fishmonger in Battersea from about 1880 onwards, he was married to Alice (Warner) from Norfolk, and they had 6 children. George,1878, William,1879, Nellie, 1880, Alice,1883, Alfred,( my grandfather),1889, and Harry 1893. I know George was a barman, and I think he married, don`t know who. Nellie was in service, and I think married a Howard Warren. William went to sea, Harry died as a young man, and I can`t find out what happened to young Alice. My Dad always thought he was the last of the Coleman`s, but was unaware of his father`s siblings. |
