Trying to find any details on the following family: Father - Robert Crayford dates unknown although he was dead by 1855. Wife unknown His son Charles was born in 1836 in Tudeley and Capel. I have plenty of info on Charles children but his parents are a mystery. I know his fathers name was Robert from Charles marriage certificate but nothing else. Charles married Charlotte Harbour who died in 1864 after having William Robert in 1857, James in 1858 and Fanny Elizabeth in 1861. James married twice - Fanny Clinch, they had 2 children, Albert John born 1889 and Beatrice Eleanor born 1885. Fanny died and James remarried to Lizzie Isobel Thomas, nee Ryder and they had Emily born 1899. Lost them all after 1901. Robert married Sarah Brockhurst and had Kate born 1880, Ernest William born 1881 and Frederick Charles born 1883. I have lost track of them after 1901. Charles stayed in the Tudely area until 1901 by which time he was re married and living in Wateringbury with his son John born 1871, Tudeley and 2nd wife, Sarah Jessup. Again, nothing after 1901. I see from Genes that there were several Crayford families in the Tudeley area but no connection can be made as yet. If any of these names mean anything to anyone, please get in touch. I am a tad desperate now!!! Thanks Jo
