Hi, My link to the Anscombes is through my g grandmother Matilda Elizabeth Boatwright (nee Stanford). They had several children one being Alfred James Boatwright 1864 (named after his father), he married Harriet Matilda Anscombe1864c, she was born in Gravesend, Kent. They had children L M. 1889 (sorry that is all that was on the census but i suspect it was Louise or Louisa Matilda) Harriet 1889, Alfred, Rose (died as a baby) and Matilda 1896. These were all born around London, West Ham and Canning Town. I even have a picture of her holding a baby. And a beautiful picture of one of her daughters Harriet 1889, with 2 little children, she married Walter Golds. |
